All-County League Division 2 - Latest Results Caulry 2-12 Rosemount 2-7
Caulry recorded an important five point victory over their recent championship opponents Rosemount in a Division 2 League tie played in Rosemount last Tuesday night. Despite missing a couple of regulars, Caulry led at the break by 1-5 to 1-1 following some fine points from play by David Brookes and an opportunist goal by Jack O'Kelly-Lynch. Rosemount converted a penalty in this period also. A purple patch during the third quarter of the game when Caulry scored 1-4 including a Robbie Hickey goal and playing some fine football, it looked like a comfortable victory was to hand but Rosemount rallied in the final quarter with a late goal and in an exciting finish Caulry got over the line with five points to spare. This win keeps Caulry tied at the top of the Div 2 table with two games remaining and having a great opportunity to gain Division 1 status for next year.

Intermediate Championship
All roads lead to Cusack Park, Mullingar this Friday evening when Caulry take on St Mary's, Rochfortbridge as part of a double header in the fourth round of this year's Intermediate Championship with a 7.45pm throw-in. A win on Friday would ensure Caulry at least a quarter-final slot in the knock-out stages and with one game remaining to be played in the round-robin series. A large Caulry support is anticipated to cheer on the boys.

Hard luck to Robbie Hickey and the Westmeath team following their All-Ireland Minor Quarter-Final defeat to Mayo played in Tullamore last Bank Holiday Monday.
