St Mary's Rochfortbridge 0-5       

A goal at the start of each half paved the way for a Caulry victory in a Co League Div 2 tie
with Intermediate rivals St Mary's Rochfortbridge played in the Park last Sunday afternoon. Playing against a strong breeze in the first half  Caulry with the aid of goals from Johnny Dolan (inset) and Peter Smyth coupled with several missed scoring opportunities by St Marys at the other end went in at  the break leading on a scoreline of 2-2 to 0-4 points. 
A well taken goal by Andrew O'Sullivan immediately after the re-start ensured the spoils went to Caulry who dominated  the remainder of the game and held the opposition to a solitary point in the second half.

Under 16s
Caulry 4-12 Kilbeggan/St Joseph's 4-14
Caulry U/16s lost narrowly to Kilbeggan/St Josephs in an U/16  Div 2 League game played in Kilbeggan last Tuesday week. This was agame of two halves with Kilbeggan/St Joseph;s well on top on the scoreboard at half-time but a great Caulry resurgence in the second half nearly pulled off a shock result given the state of play in favour of Kilbeggan/St Joseph's ten minutes into the second half.

Under 12s
Caulry travelled to Athlone on Wednesday evening last for the latest Under 12 league match. Both clubs fielded two 10-a-side teams and made light of the very wet and windy conditions and each claimed a victory in an even contest.

Well Done
Well done to Caulry players Robbie Hickey and Sean Doyle who were members of the Westmeath Minor team that defeated Wicklow last Saturday in Mullingar in the Quarter Final of the Leinster Championship. Next up for Westmeath is a Leinster semi-final tie with Meath scheduled for July 6th.
