Caulry GAA PRO Notes - 15th July 2013

Caulry Gathering Week-end
Preparations are being finalised for the Caulry Gathering week-end which takes place this Friday/Saturday July 19th & 20th. The occasion is primarily to honour all past players both in Football and Camogie and former members of Scor. 
A full program of events is lined up to include Mass on Friday evening at 8pm for all deceased members and their families, followed by refreshments in the Hall and a traditional session in Egans Pub. On Saturday a golf competition takes place in Mount Temple Golf Club at 11.30am. The Larry Nugent U/10 Final takes place in the Park at 5.45pm followed by the Egan Cup Final at 7pm. Evening celebrations to be held in Egans Pub will include prize giving and the Egan Cup presentation. Music will be provided by the Willie Kavanagh Band and will include local guest artists and former members of Scor. So come along and join in the 'Caulry Gathering' celebrations as all are welcome.
Hard Luck
Hard Luck to Robbie Hickey, Sean Doyle and the Westmeath squad following their defeat to Kildare in the Leinster Minor Football Final played in Croke Park last Sunday as the curtain raiser to the Senior Final. Westmeath now enter the quarter-final stage of the All-Ireland Minor Championship where they will meet the winners of the Connaught title. 
Under 21 Championship
The Westmeath U/21 Football Championship is getting an earlier start than usual  this year when Caulry take on St Mary's, Rochfortbridge in the Park next Tuesday, July 23rd at 7pm in a first round tie in the 15 a-side knock-out Championship.
Minor League/Championship : Caulry at home to Moate, Wednesday July 17th at 8pm
U/13 League : Caulry at home to St Malachy's/Ballinagore, Wedneday July 17th at 7pm
U/14 League/Championship : Caulry at home to Milltownpass, Thursday July 18th at 7.30pm
U/16 League/Championship : Caulry at home to St Malachy's/Ballinagore, Monday July 22nd at 7.30pm
U/21 15 a-side Championship : Caulry at home to St Mary's, Rochfortbridge, Tuesday July 23rd at 7pm.

No winner of the Jackpot (€ 4,600) in the draw on July 8th.
