Div 2 All-County League

Caulry 3-11 Shandonagh 0-11
Caulry travelled to Shandonagh last Tuesday evening to take on fellow Intermediate side Shandonagh in an important Div 2 League tie for Caulry. Suffering the after effects of a championship encounter only 48 hours earlier Caulry were very sluggish to start allowing Shandonagh to take a three point lead in the first ten minutes of the game. However Caulry settled into their normal routine and with the aid of two Peter Smyth goals went in at the break leading on a scoreline of 2-5 to 0-5 points. Following an evenly balanced second period and with the aid of a well taken  third goal scored by Andy O'Sullivan, Caulry maintained their drive for promotion to Div 1 with a well merited win on a scoreline of Caulry 3-11 Shandonagh 0-11.
