Co. League Division 5
The Caulry Junior Squad travelled to play Killucan in round 4 of the Co. League Division 5 on Easter Monday last. Playing against a strong breeze in the opening half and playing some nice team football Caulry went in at the break leading on a scoreline of 0-6 points to 0-2. Fielding their strongest side to date in this competition, Caulry proved far superior to the opposition in the second half and with the help of a typical Peter Smyth goal ran out worthy winners on a scoreline of Caulry 1-15 Killucan 0-3.
This was a good overall performance from players who are hoping to claim starting places in the upcoming Intermediate and Junior championship games respectively.
Team & Scorers : Damien Keenaghen, Ciaran Allen, Michael McMahon, Pat Buckley, Keith McMenamin, Jack O'Meara, James Pettit, Conor Allen (0-1), Eoin Donohoe (0-2), Stephen Woods (0-1), Nicky Killane (0-1), Eric Fallon 0-2(1f), Alan Carroll (0-5), Peter Smyth 1-1(1f), Micky Fitzpatrick.
