Caulry Junior squad recorded a well deserved victory over Athlone in  round two of this year's Junior Championship in
Athlone on Friday evening last.
Caulry from the word go went about their business with intent and with some fine points all from play bar one, and including a well taken goal by Alan Carroll,  gave the men in red a half-time lead of 1-9 to 0-5 points. Athlone upped their game in the second half and started clawing back the lead but a brace of well taken points by Nicky Killane (inset) and Alan Daly entering the last ten minutes of the game restored Caulry's supremacy and they ran out deserving winners with five points to spare.
