Caulry GAA PRO Notes - Feb 7th

Championship Draws 
Caulry have been paired with the following clubs in the group stages of this year's Intermediate Football Champoinship :- St Mary's Rochfortbridge, Ballynacargy, Castletown/Finea/Coole/Whitehall (CFCW), Moate and Ballymore.
The first round game against CFCW is planned for either May 8th or 15th next.
In the Junior B Football Championship Caulry have been drawn in the same section as St Mary's, Mullingar Shamrocks, Delvin, CFCW and St Paul's.
 
Division 2 League Game 
Caulry's first team  commence the season's activities next Sunday when they are down to play St Malachy's  in Castletown at 11am in the first round of the County Dvision 2 League.  All support will be appreciated.
 
Minor Board Registration Night 
Registration night for all Underage players for 2011 will take place this Thursday night (Feb 10th) in the Park from 7 to 8pm for age groups U/8, U/10, U/12 and 8 to 9pm for age groups U/14, U16 and Minor. Club Membership/Registration Fees are similar to last year  as follows :- Family (includes 2 Adults and all children U/18)  is €50, Adult €30, Student €20 and U18s €15. Again this year the Club are doing a special offer with Family Membership, in that if you avail of an annual Club Lottery ticket at a cost of €100 this will automatically include full Family Membership. We would encourage all Families to consider this option as being of good value in that all Lottery proceeds act as the main source of income in the running of the day-to-day activities in the club.
 
Minor Management Team 
The following 3-man team has been ratified as the Minor Management Team for 2011 at a recent Senior Executive Meeting :- Tommy Woods (Manager), Gary Flanagan (Coach/Selector), Ger Carroll (Selector).
 
County Underage Leagues 
Commencement dates for the various Underage County Leagues have been agreed as follows :- U/12s Mar 30th, U/14s Feb 26th, U/16s Mar 21st (Cross Border League) and Minor Feb 20th. All club underage squads will commence training shortly. Notification of trainng dates/times will be communicated to all by the relevant Team Mentor/Management Groups.  
 
New Caulry Website 
Caulry have a new Website, which was recently launched. T  his site aims to provide you with up to date information regarding the activities in the club. It also provides information on the history of the club since it's foundation in 1928. The Website can be viewed via www.caulry.gaa.ie.
