Minor Premier Semi-Final
Well done to Michael Mc Mahon, Jack O'Meara, Jack O'Kelly-Lynch, Robbie Hickey, Eric Fallon, David Brookes, Andrew O'Sullivan and Darren O'Connor who all featured in the St Ciaran's side (Caulry/Castledaly/Garrycastle)  that defeated St Brigids in the semi-final of the Minor Premier Championship last Saturday in Tubberclair on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-3 points.

St Ciarans will now play Ennell Shamrocks in the final to be held as the curtain-raiser to the Co.Senior Football Final in Cusack Park, Mullingar on Sunday, October 2nd.

Under 10s

Fresh from their winning exploits in the Caulry Under 10 tournament, Caulry faced hot favourites, St Brigids Roscommon in the first round of the Castledaly Under 10 Coughlan Cup tournament. When these sides met in a challenge match in Kiltoom on a lovely sunny evening in May, the Caulry team were given a football lesson. However on  a torrential wet evening in Mount Temple on Wednesday last, Caulry showed they had learned from that experience and put up a mighty fight against the famed Roscommon outfit. Both sides made light of the conditions to produce a competitive contest. However the greater strength and ability to take their chances, gave St Brigids victory on 4-7 to 1-6 scoreline. .

Team Squad : James Clavin, Leah Quigley, Glen Carolan, Charlie Malone, Olan Healy, Daniel Buckley, Ciaran Gaynor, Thomas Dunning, Luke Hamilton, Alan Malynn, Adam Donoghue, Rory Mullins, Shane Hynes, James Carey, Luke Buckley, Conor McKnight, Oisin Murphy, Jamie Conlon, Senan Baker, Emma Farrell, Zach Nolan

The Under 10s continue a busy fixture list when they take on local rivals Moate in Castledaly on this Wednesday at 6.45pm.

On Saturday next, September 17 they travel to The Downs for a four team tournament starting at 3pm.

Caulry Quiz Night

Due to a bereavement the Caulry Quiz night which was to take place last Friday night was cancelled and will be re-scheduled for later in the year . The All-Ireland Football ticket draw also arranged for that night was held instead on Monday night this week prior to the weekly Club Lotto Draw.
