Co League Div 5
Caulry entertained near neighbours Maryland in a Div 5 League game in the Park on Friday evening last. Following their
recent wins over Athlone and Killucan in this Competition, Caulry were anxious to keep the momentum going and from the throw-in took the game to their opponents with a well taken goal by full-forward Michael Fitzpatrick early in the game. Caulry held the momentum following this goal and went in at the break leading on a scoreline of 1-3 to 3 points.
On the resumption, Maryland upped their game and by half-way had drawn level with Caulry following some well taken points. However following some key substitutions by Caulry, and particularly with the introduction of Jack O'Meara,  the home team regained the momentum and finished the last quarter strongly, running out deserved  winners on a scoreline of 1-8 to 0-7.
Team & Scorers : Sean Doyle, Ciaran Allen, Pat Buckley, Jason Walker, Eoin Donohoe, Brian Mullarney, Keith Mc Menamen (0-1), Philip Dully 0-2 (1f), Declan Donohoe, Nicky Killane(inset), Andrew O'Sullivan 0-2 (1f), Eric Fallon, Ryan Browne, Michael Fitzpatrick (1-0), Robbie Ryan (0-1).
Subs Used : James Pettit for Jason Walker (h-t), Stephen Woods for Ryan Browne ( h-t), Ernie Buckley for Robbie Ryan, Jack O.Meara (0-2) for Michael Fitzpatrick

On the night Liam Malynn had an excellent game in goals distributing the ball excellently. Sean Clinton, Kevin O’Flaherty and Charlie Parker excelled in the backline and Emmet Nally and Kealan Dollard played well at midfield.
