Our defence held strong with Pat Buckley and Charlie Parker having impressive displays as Flanagan and Mark Fitzpatrick notched up some superb scores. Westmeath Underage Squads
The Westmeath underage squads were busy last weekend with blitzes at various venues. Caulry are well represented on all age groups. At the under 16 games in Athlone, Darren Browne, Neil Clinton, Sean Fox and Colin Murphy were in action. At the Dunganny Meath Centre of excellence grounds, Caulry’s representatives were James Clavin, Daniel Buckley and Thomas Dunning on the Westmeath Under 15’s. The under 14’s were in Cavan and this year Olan Healy, Rory Mullins and Roan Sweeney are members of that group. Finally on our youngest county grouping, the under 13’s, we are well represented by Senan Baker, Tom Cloonan, Shane Lawless, Alan Malynn, Sean Murphy, and Conor Paul. In addition Club coach Ollie Baker is also a member of the county coaching set up at that grade. We wish all these young stars of the future well in their county careers and hopefully many of these young men will go on to emulate Kevin Maguire in starring at senior county level.

Good luck to our three county minors, Sean Clinton, Conor McCormack and Emmet Nally and their Westmeath team mates in this weekend’s Leinster Minor championship clash with Kildare.
