Intermediate Championship Must win game for Caulry against Milltownpass this Sunday in Rosemount.
Caulry travel to Rosemount on Sunday evening next to take on Milltownpass in the last round of Intermediate championship fixtures at 5.30pm. Its must win game for both teams, so your support would be welcome.

Minor Championship
Caulry 3-10
Coralstown/Kinnegad 1-8
The minors concluded a busy championship week, when putting Coralstown/Kinnegad to the sword at home on Friday evening last. Apart from a brief spell midway through either half, Caulry were very much in control through the midfield dominance of Alan Daly and Patrick Sleator. The defence marshalled by the influential Eoin Fox and with Sean O Neill also in excellent form, soaked up the visitors best efforts. Hugh Allen led the attack very intelligently. The inside line of Stephen Byrne, Conor McCormack and Lee O Grady will trouble any backline with quick ball, in another good all round performance.
Team: Killian Nagle, Stephen Brookes, Sean O Neill, Patrick Browne, Patrick McMahon, Eoin Fox (0-1), Stephen Connolly (1-0), Alan Daly (0-3), Patrick Sleator (0-1), Christian Jocker, Hugh Allen, Killian Healy, Stephen Byrne (1-4), Conor McCormack (0-1), Lee O Grady (1-0).
Subs: Emmet Nally, Sylvestor Coughlan, Irwin Griffin

Under 16 Championship Division 3
Caulry 10-10
Kilbeggan/St Josephs 4-13
Caulry played host to Kilbeggan/St Josephs in this second round of the Under 16 championship on Monday week last. As the scoreline would suggest, this was a very open game of football, real end to end. However the visitors had no answer to Caulry’s experienced players like, Sean Clinton, Conor McCormack, Kevin O Flaherty and Jordan Dunning, while the younger brigade Liam Malynn, Sean Woods and Liam Doyle also chipped in with some delightful scores. Aaron Fallon lengthy kick-outs were a notable feature, turning defence to attack very quickly.
Team: Aaron Fallon, Charlie Parker, Darren Browne, Kevin O Flaherty, Sean Clinton (1-3), Peter O Kelly Lynch, Conor McCormack (2-3), Colin Murphy, Neil Clinton (1-1), Jordan Dunning (2-0), Liam Malynn (0-2), Sean Woods (1-1), Shane Cleary (1-0)
Subs Used: Liam Doyle (2-0), Adam Mullins, Dylan Lowry

Under 14 Championship Division 1
Caulry 2-12
The Downs 4-11
The Downs were our visitors on Thursday evening last and put in a typical championship performance to take the points. The Downs were having their third championship outing, while this was our first outing and in the end this was probably the main difference, as they were sharper and made the early running. By the time Caulry got into a rhythm, the Black and Ambers had built up a substantial and we ran out of time. Eoin Shortall was outstanding in the backline, while Daniel Buckley and Darren Browne added inspirational points to good defence. As usual Colin Murphy played a true captains role combining workrate with big scores including a ‘goal of the season effort’. Shane Cleary was the best forward on view, but apart from Thomas Dunning he lacked the necessary support.
Team: James Clavin, Eugene Costello, Jack Sheehan (0-1), Eoin Shortall, Daniel Buckley (0-1), Darren Browne (0-1), Dylan Lowry, Colin Murphy (1-1), Neil Clinton (0-1), Shane Cleary (1-4), Thomas Dunning, Sean Fox (0-1), Adam Donoghue (0-2), Adam Mullins, Liam Doyle, Roan Sweeney, Luke Hamilton, Glen Carolan, Zach Nolan.
