Division 4 ACFL
Caulry 1-6
Tubberclair 1-7
Caulry and Tubberclair served up an entertaining Division 4 ACFL game in Tubberclair last Friday night under lights.  Both teams were slow to start and were guilty of early misses. Points from Stephen Woods, Alan Carroll and Emmet Nally left it four points apiece at the interval.
Tubberclair started the second half well with an early point. However, Alan Carroll responded with a well taken goal after the ball had been brilliantly worked up the field by Emmet Nally and Alan Daly. This lead was short lived as Tubberclair hit the back of the Caulry net in the 48th minute. The match continued on a point for point basis until the final whistle, with Alan Carroll and Eoin Fox contributing to the scoring tally. Unfortunately Caulry were forced to finish the match with 14 men as Conor Tumulty had to be taken off with an injury. The final score was 1-7 to 1-6 in favour of Tubberclair.
Team & Scorers: Cillian Nagle, Ciaran Allen, Eoin Donohoe, Keith McMenamin, John Dolan, Jack O’Kelly Lynch, Sean Clinton, Emmet Nally (0-1), Ernie Buckley, Eric Fallon, Stephen Woods (0-2), Alan Daly, Hugh Allen, Alan Carroll (1-2, 1f), Eoin Fox (0-1, 1f)
Subs: Conor Dolan for Keith McMenamin, Conor Tumulty for John Dolan, Gavin Byrne for Eric Fallon, John Dolan for Emmet Nally, Conor McCormack for Alan Daly
