Intermediate Championship
Best of Luck to Caulry who bid for a place in the last four of this year's Intermediate Championship when they take on Tang in a Quarter-final tie in Moate at 5 pm next Saturday, August 27th.

A large local support for the team is anticipated.

Larry Nugent Memorial Tournament 2011
Next Saturday morning August 27th sees the start of a busy schedule for the Caulry U/10 scene when the Larry Nugent Memorial Tournament gets underway.

At 10.30am Moate, Garrycastle and Millmore Gaels play each other. This is followed by Tubberclair and Maryland/Tang. Then at 2pm Caulry, Rosemeount and Castledaly do battle and  hopefully will finish in time to see Caulry play Tang in the Intermediate quarter-final.

The finals of the Larry Nugent Tournament will take place on the following Saturday, with another full days football in store.

Caulry U-16s
Caulry 2.9
Ballinacarrigy 3.14

Caulry U-16s played Ballinacarrigy in the Championship on Wednesday evening in the park. They put up a very spirited performance against a very strong Ballinacarrigy side and after scoring 1.4 in the first half Caulry  trailed by two points.

Ballinacarrigy took control of the game in the second half and quickly built up a strong lead. However Caulry never gave up and points from Tom Doyle, Hugh Allen, Patrick McMahon and Alan Nugent combined with a well taken goal from Stephen Brookes kept them in touch. However the opposition finished the game stronger to win by eight points. Their next game is away to Ballinagore.
