Sympathies
It was with great sadness and regret that we learned of the passing of Kate Cunningham last week. Kate was always a good supporter of the club down through the years. Her husband, PJ, is a stalwart member of the club and currently serves as a vice-president. While her son, Ciaran, also played at all levels with the club. The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Cunningham family, Mount Temple, on their recent loss.

U21 Championship
Caulry 4-10
St. Mary’s Rochfortbridge 2-9
Caulry got off to a winning start in this year’s U21 Championship as they made the journey to St. Mary’s of Rochfortbridge on Tuesday evening last.
Caulry hit the ground running with some fine scores early in the game. Our lads began to dominate proceedings as Paddy Sleator rattled the back of the opposition’s net. St. Mary’s of Rochfortbridge were slow to settle and reduced the deficit with a fine point from play. However, the Caulry lads began to push on with further points from Conor McCormack to leave the scoreboard reading 3-4 to 0-1 on the 17th minute. Our defence held strong with Eoin Fox and Stephen Brookes having impressive displays. The teams traded scores late in the half to leave Caulry leading 3-6 to 0-3 at the halftime whistle.
On the resumption, our lads seemed to sit back and let the opposition back into the game. Emmet Nally and Sean Clinton tapped over two points to stretch Caulry’s lead. Stephen Connolly fielded well as Cialan Dollard and Jack Connaughton impressed up front. Further scores from Connolly and Sean Fox secured our lads the win with a final score of 4-10 to 2-9.
