Junior B Championship
Caulry ended any hopes of reaching the knock-out stages of this year's Junior B Chamionship when they were defeated by Mullingar Shamrocks in a round-robin tie in the Park last Saturday evening. Following a closely contsted affair and
down by 1-5 to 0-3 points at half-time Caulry rallied in the second-half and could have with a bit of luck and determination taken the game but a stronger Mullingar won out on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-9.

U/14 Championship Semi-final
Caulry U/14s travelled to Rosemount last Saturday to take on Tubberclair in the Div 3 Championship Semi-final. From the off Caulry were the stronger outfit and playing some lovely open football on a dry day and well maintained pitch ran up a comfortable lead by half-time on a scoreline of 4-10 to 2-4 following a brace of well taken goals by both Stephen Byrne and Aaron Roarke. Playing with the aid of the breeze in the second half Tubberclair upped their game somewhat but to no avail and well before the final whistle Caulry had booked their place in the final on a scoreline of 6-20 to 3-7. Caulry now take on Millmore Gaels next Saturday at 3.30pm in Kilbeggan in the decider and we wish Mentors Ronan and Joe and all the squad the best of luck in their endeavors to bring back a first trophy of the season to Caulry.
