Under 12s
On Wednesday last May 25th Caulry U12’s travelled the short distance to Pairc Chiaran to take on Athlone in the league. On a very wet and miserable evening both teams give a great display and those spectators who braved the weather were well rewarded. Despite coming out on the wrong side of both games the Caulry lads can be proud of their display and their never say die attitude. Keep up the training lads.

Teams:
Christian Stephens, Neil Clinton, Jack Sheehan, Eoin Shortall, Aaron Ganley, Mathew Nally, Eugene Costello, Rian Rasmussen, Liam Malynn, Kevin Hickey, Liam Doyle.

Ryan Malone, Darcy Lawless, Darren Brown, Sean Fox, Colin Murphy, Dylan Lowry, Sam Nolan, Sean Woods, Lee Guinan, Aaron Fallon, Ciaran Geoghegan, Jack Malone.

Many thanks to Athlone GAA for refreshments after the game.

Congratulations to U12 fitness coach Thomas Fagan who is Connacht Champion after winning the Mens 2km steeple chase recently. Best of luck Thomas in the All Ireland.

Under 10s
A windy Pairc Chiarian Athlone was the venue for the South Westmeath Under 10 league Finals day on Saturday last. Caulry took on Garrycastle and both sides served up a good game of football despite the blustery conditions. Caulry, with Dylan Joyce making a very impressive return to action, just shaded a very even contest to finish the league on a high. Luke Hamilton and James Carey were both outstanding in a good all round team performance. Our thanks to the Athlone club for their hospitality and a well run day by them and Westmeath Games Development Committee. All the players received a pair of Westmeath football socks at the end.
