IFC Semi-Final Fixture
All roads lead to TEG Cusack Park on Saturday evening next for the penultimate stage of this year’s intermediate championship. Our lads will battle it out against Milltownpass in this eagerly anticipated clash with a place in the final the prize for whoever emerges victorious. If recent history is anything to go by, this encounter promises to be an exciting affair. Both sides have met a smattering of times in championship football at intermediate level in recent years, the most recent of which was in the group-stages of the 2014 championship, which saw Caulry come out on top on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-7, a championship which our lads ultimately went on to win. With the right attitude and performance, Caulry will be hoping to push on from previous games and qualify for the 2018 intermediate final against Shandonagh or Milltown (the other semi-final which precedes our game at 2:30pm). Kick-off for this all-important clash is at 4pm and all supporters are asked to come out and show our lads some support on the evening. The very best of luck to the team and their management.

U10 Larry Nugent Tournament
ur U10 boys had a very busy morning last Saturday as they played host to a series of teams for the annual Larry Nugent Tournament. Eight teams took part in the blitz including Rosemount, Castledaly, Tubberclair, Moate, Maryland/Tang and two Caulry teams. Proceedings began at 11am and after some exciting games, the final pairings were as follows:
Cup Final: Maryland/Tang vs. Tubberclair
Shield Final: Castledaly vs. Garrycastle
Plate Final: Caulry White vs. Rosemount
Plate Final: Caulry Red vs. Moate
The winning teams of Maryland/Tang, Garrycastle, Rosemount and Moate along with the runners-up were then presented with their medals by Larry Nugent Jnr. on behalf of the Nugent family.
Well done to all the teams and managements involved and to everyone involved in the organising of this tournament. A huge thanks to the parents who provided refreshments on the day and to Neil Clinton, Liam Malynn, Stephen Connolly and Shane Hynes for refereeing. Well done all!

IFC Semi-Final vs. Milltownpass on Saturday, October 6th at 4pm in Cusack Park
