Caulry GAA PRO Notes Feb 14th

Division 2 League 
Caulry played their first Division 2 League game of the season last Sunday with a good win over senior side St Malachy's at Castletown.
Fielding without a number of regulars due to other commitments Caulry started sluggishly and were behind by four points to no score after 15 minutes. Following some well taken frees by Gary Flanagan, Caulry rallied but still went in at half-time down by 0-8 points to 0-4.
In the second half both sides tried to gain the initiative with Caulry eventually getting on top and settling the tie with a Mark Fitzpatrick goal eight minutes from time followed by a Philip Dully point to win on a scoreline of 1-8 to 0-10.

Lotto Win
Congratulations to 'Goggs & Kieran'  on winning the Caulry Lotto Jackpot of €8,600 last week. The winning ticket was sold by Bo Allen.
Division 5 League vs Ballymore in Ballymore on Saturday, Feb 19th at 4pm.  Minor Div 2 League vs Ballynacargy at 11am, Sunday Feb 20th in Ballynacargy. 
Moate CS Win
Congrats to John Maguire, Jack O'Meara, Eric Fallon, Jack O'Kelly-Lynch, Shane Nugent & Ryan Browne who were part of the Moate CS squad that defeated Colaiste Eoin (Dublin) in the Quarter final of the Leinster Senior Schools Championship last Sunday at the Kilmacud Crokes grounds in Dublin. They now face St Pat's of Navan in the Leinster semi-final the week-end after next.
Under-age Registration Night
A very successfull under-age registration night took place last Thursday in the Park. Anyone who missed the registration night can still register by contacting any member of  the Minor Committee or Under-age Team Mentors.
