Div 3 Semi-Final

Kilbeggan/St Josephs 3 -10 v Caulry 2 - 4

Streamstown was the venue for the U12 Girls Div 3 Semi final on Tuesday evening last. Both teams had a good start but it was Kilbeggan/St Joseph dominating at the end of the first half. Our girls had most of the play in the second half but despite some good scores from Leah and Ava Hallissey, Darina Haney and Jenny Paul it wasn't enough against a strong Kilbeggan side. Thanks to all the girls, parents and coaches for their commitment.

Team: Maria Flynn, Jade Harney, Anna Malone, Susan Duignan, Eve Donoghue, Amy Murphy, Aoife Collins, Darina Hanevy, Leah Hallissey, Grace O Flaherty, Hannah Malone, Rebecca Nally, Ashling Kenny, Ava Hallissey, Shania O Leary, Jenny Paul, Tiffany Maguire, Ciara Belton, Sive Brady.

The date for the U-14's B County Final has been set for Sunday, 18th September at 1.00pm in Killucan v The Downs. We hope that everyone will come out and support the girls.

D Semi Final

Caulry 6-15 v Clann Gaels 2-5

Caulry played host to the D Semi-final v Clann Gaels last Tuesday. Caulry took advantage of the wind in the first half as they raced ahead with mid-fielders Jasmine and Aishling winning most of the ball and great scoring from Lauren, Leah, Aine, Emma F and Ruth that gave them a 15 point lead at half time. Caulry’s defence worked tirelessly in the second half with great teamwork from Holly, Sarah and Erin and more scores from a very persistent forward line including Molly and Jasmine from midfield. There was no doubt at the final whistle as Caulry emerged as winners and more than deserve their place in the final! Well done girls!
